My attention has been drawn to a website using the API.
I don't think the Terms are being fully complied with and have notified both the user and Panoramio of my concerns.
The photographers name is only displayed if mouseover occurs , and there is no Panoramio logo shown.
It is quite possible that users could play the game without ever seeing the photographers name displayed.

Non UK members can use any London postcode such as EC1 to test the game.

Do you agree this is in breach of the Terms of Use ?

If you use the photo widget API in slideshow mode, it only displays the user name if you mouseover the photo. However, the Pano logo and a copyright notice is always displayed.

It has become clear to me that there are degrees of compliance, and since Pano's own products do not perfectly comply, it's not always that big a deal.

The lack of a copyright notice is a big deal to me.

Not in this case.

I can see Panoramio logo (clickable) and copyright notice under the box with vote buttons. (IE8, compatible mode).
When using IE8 without compatible mode, it is displayed too, but page layout is corrupted. Maybe this page is wrongly implemented in some browsers and does not show copyright and Panoramio logo?

Thanks Tomas. I emailed the site owner yesterday and he has updated.

lpc1234, perhaps this shall be reported to those sites admins first - and than to Panoramio admins?
