PANMA Gets Spooky This October

Halloween is just around the corner, and things are about to get FREAAAAAAKY. You know what else is freaky? Technology. With the deep dark lens of shows and movies like Black Mirror, Terminator, The Matrix & 2001: A Space Odyssey (ok maybe not that last one), we've all gotten a glimpse into the theoretical terrors of technology.

But what about real life? Where is technology going? Are robots truly going to take over our world? How scared should we really be?

Join PANMA for this Halloween-themed tech discussion. Talk about the hive mind, humans vs. robots, trusting your eyes in the age of the deep-fake, and more. And don't worry, it's all just 1's and 0's. Keep your eyes peeled for the event details!

Details coming soon...so pay attention! In the meantime it's time for the...

First bi-monthly, PANMA Field Trip on September 27

Can't wait until October to hang with the PANMA crew? Come along on our first official PANMA field trip. Every other month, we'll find incredible events around Philadelphia and travel as a group to check them out. This way, we'll connect across our tech communities, support local events, and meet some awesome new people!

This month, we're hitting up Tech Tour at Guru Technologies. Tech Tour will feature three panel discussions on technology and the workplace. In between each panel, a local Philly musician will perform. Tech Tour is free of charge - you just need to RSVP. It's a jam-packed (Bill and Ted excellent guitar riff) start to the PANMA season, so can't wait to see you all soon!
