I hope that none of you, reading this article, will suffer anxiety
disorder. However, if you seriously feel that you have one or more
anxiety physical symptoms, you are not alone - millions of people do
have them and I urge you to discuss physical symptoms with a
physician. Most mental problems, especially anxiety disorder, are
handled by family physicians. They are quite capable of making
judgements and prescribing medications, and will recommend a
specialist. Please don't think anxiety disorder is a rare thing, or
that people who have anxiety problems are peculiar - the unfortunate
fact is that, unless cures for anxiety disorder are found and used, it
will affect half the people of our country, to some content, at some
time in their lives.
Anxiety physical symptoms are very common. They are said to bring
doctors their greatest number of mental patients. Perhaps five percent
of the population suffer with anxiety problems which ought to be
treated.
But anxiety can be normal and sometimes very useful. It's what would
make you jump out of the way of a runaway truck, or fall to the floor
when the bank robber pulled a gun. It's what I felt when the doctor
told me that I was either going to have a balloon procedure or a heart
bypass operation.
Since the atomic bomb was discovered, and especially in our larger
cities - where crime is considered almost normal - the normal anxiety
level of our people has been on a steady increase and it taking a
heavy toll in blood pressure and heart problems, and may be a factor
in anxiety disorders.
Here are some anxiety physical symptoms:Chest discomfort or sharp
pains in the chest

Sweating
Trembling or shaking
Shortness of breath
Hot or cold flashes
Difficult to swallowing
Stomach pain
Palpitations
Nausea and vomiting
Dizziness and faint
