The Question:
"hi new here
i have been visiting this site for some time now ,,,
in reading your posts i have found lots of nice people here,
i am an anxiety sufferer for almost 7 years, has anyone heard of or
tried the lindon method???????
i have been thinking of trying it but i think it is quite expensive,
would love some feedback,
trevor"
The Answer:
"Hi Trevor and welcome [:D]
I am a believer in the "no quick fix" method.
To be honest I've not tried the Lindon Method, I decided against it.
I didn't get the whole "secret" and amazing cure thing.
You can do more for yourself and it's free.

With hard work and determination and all the things you know.
The world is there for you to take. There's nowhere you can't go."
This was taken directly from Charles Linden's web site:
"Remember, you receive $388 worth of materials for only $177,
(including shipping and handling via insured, express delivery). If
you're not 100% impressed by the results, just send it back within one
year and we'll cheerfully refund your money... the truth is, if we
can't get you well again, we don't want your money!"

Here is my concern:
Each of us who suffer with a panic disorder has to determine our own
destiny. What works for one may not work for another. But in this
group, I do not want to promote for profit any one method unless I
personally feel that it calls out for such promotion.
Panic is not like being overweight where you can throw a large number
of "tried and true" methods of curing it only to realize in the end -
you still need to eat right, exercise, and live healthy.
Panic requires attention to some core issues such as the sources that
"triggered" the symptoms. For some it is Post Traumatic Stress, a
result of some horrific events in our lives. For others, it is the
inability to deal with everyday stresses. In some cases, it may be
heredity and only coffee addiction or some other addiction is enough to
trigger the symptoms of panic.
I set up this group so that a community of panic sufferers could share
their experiences about how panic came into their lives and the methods
they are using to manage such panic.
I am very cautious and skeptical about "sure fire", "overnight cure"
methods of overcoming panic, especially those that emphasize on "send
me money". It is my opinion, being a panic sufferer since the mid
'90's that there are no "cures" for panic.
I would support alternatively methods for managing panic that promote
being aware of the causes or sources and triggers of panic and how
changing our lifestyles and being in tune with ones self and our
surroundings is a more prudent approach to this disability. Exercise,
prayer, diet, and in some instances, moderate amounts of medication can
help a person manage panic and the related symptoms.
What do you feel about my comments?
Thanks
