Friends of Parks Volunteers are back in the Panhandle for July! We're excited to get out, meet one another and help take care of the park.
Event details:
What: Rain bed maintenance (weeding and filling in new plants)
When: July 11th from 10am-12pm (noon).
Where: Meet at the kiosk near the children's play area.
We are excited to get out there, but we also want to ensure the safety and comfort of all parties involved. To accommodate, the Friends of Groups have been provided some COVID guidance to ensure safety and comfort:
- We're being asked to keep work groups to 10 individuals or less and to have people register before participating This is available both online(https://bit.ly/sfrpdvolunteerwaiver) but also can be filled out upon arrival so nothing to worry about!
- Masks are required and we'd ask that you bring one with you :)
- A general safety protocol of "no sharing tools" will be in-effect to help keep each other safe. Tools will be provided by city officials.
- Latex glove liners and gardening gloves will be provided, but you can bring your own if you'd prefer!
- For the time being, food and drinks are BYOE (bring your own everything) to keep each other safe.
