Hello Everyone!

The heat and smoke didn't make it easy, but I hope that you found a way to enjoy the long weekend.

Next Saturday is the Second Saturday work party for October (the 12th). I took a walk through the rain beds yesterday, and they could use some touch ups from the mulching last month and some deadheading/weeding throughout.

Event details:
What: Rain bed maintenance
When: September 12h from 10am-12pm (noon).
Where: Meet at the kiosk near the children's play area.

I'm not sure what the smoke situation will be like, and haven't received direct guidance yet from the city, but I'm not really interested in gardening if it is too smoky out.  I'll monitor the smoke situation and try to make a call by Friday.

Regarding COVID precautions, the City has provided more specifics (see attached PDF), but please do fill out the waiver in advance.

Also (and forgive me on branding, it's certainly a WIP), but I've been continuing Dale's tradition of writing little blogs for each month.  Take a look at last months, hopefully some familiar faces will get you motivated to come out!

Thank you all, be well!
