Look out for a new version of the program (for Windows 7, 8 & 8.1 users) appearing on panelsys.com shortly.

This is a major release so you will need to purchase a Version 4 licence from me to be able to use the program after the trial period.

I'll most likely make the v4 installer download available on 1st or 2nd October, but feel free to order up a version 4 licence in the mean time...

An update:

A tester has reported that his copy of AVG reports PanelSys as a virus! No problems with McAfee here. I have sent a message to AVG to let them know that their software reports a "false positive" and they should correct their virus definition files asap. Check this link out for information on these incorrect reports hitting software developers.

If you are a tester (or a new user who has already installed the program before its official release), please uninstall it, download it again later/tomorrow and reinstall. The 0400 build that was originally up there has since been updated.

If you get any alert messages from your anti-virus software (i.e. incorrect alerts) reported during the install, please let me know and I'll advise the company involved to actually check the executable files on the site as they are NOT infected with a virus!

Also, Windows 8 may report "Unknown publisher" when starting the install. That message only appears because I have not "code signed" the executable. The message can be ignored.

OK, the v4 set up file is now available for downloading. I would really appreciate it if you will let me know if you encounter any issues with the install. Please don't assume someone else will report it...

Some users reported that they were getting an error message at the end of the installation saying "Sorry can't install this setup cancelled by user". Apparently this a  known problem with the installer file and I have just made the recommended changes to fix this. Seems to work now.

Also, as PanelSys v4 build 0400 went to press, dBASE released a brand new Runtime. So I've included that and there is now build 0401 on the web site for you to download...
