* The next beta release will be version 3.1 (build number 0308).
* Changes have been made for the program to install and run under
Microsoft Vista. Any feedback from volunteer testers who are Vista
users would be great. I don't have Vista yet!
* The Help system has been converted to HTML (web page format) and
I've added some new pages (Criteria forms and Report Previewer) and
improved others.
* PanelSys is now owned and developed by me as an individual, rather
than through my company. However, I will retain the "AHC" logo and
will supply support as usual.
* Misc. minor cosmetic changes have been made: New icons on Fast Check-
in tree/text of copyright dates changed to 2007 etc.
* A new Runtime Engine will be included (it provides many benefits
including vast improvements to the dropdown list handling) - I'm
awaiting the latest build and when available I'll upload the beta of
PanelSys v3.1 onto the web site ready for testing...
Regards,
Andrew
However, the latest Runtime Engine is not yet available. I am hoping
that this will be out during early/mid April. At which point, it will
be integrated into the installation program and v3.1 will be uploaded
onto the site ready for Beta testing...

Getting an error message that the setup files are corrupt.
Any ideas?
Peter
Perhaps there was a communication failure/problem during your
particular download session. I suggest downloading the setup.exe file
again. I haven't had any other reports of file corruption.
I'll try the beta download myself later and will let you know.

Andrew

Now having a problem moving an issue from one series to another. I cloned an
issue (Green Lantern #141) which I already have raw and have just bought
slabbed. Once cloned and details adjusted for the new issue, I tried to move
it from series GREEN LANTERN to series GREEN LANTERN (CGC). Panelsys asked
me if I wanted to adjust all copies with issue specific details (nice touch
by the way) and regardless of which option I choose the selected comic
refuses to move to the other series.
Bug or my usual ineptitude?
Peter

Well spotted! The "Move Issues" function seems to have stopped
working. It must be something to do with the new Runtime Engine as I
haven'y changed this function.
I'll have a look at the program and hopefully put a fixed build up on
the web site this week...
Regards,
Andrew
I've fixed it in Build (0309) and this will be available on the web
site within the next 48 hours...
