Hi Friends,

 

Its been a while since we broke off from the group and I wanted to know if anyone of us has been able to make any good strides in the field of Astrology.

 

I for one have almost given up unfortunately as I am finding myself lost in the maze of interpertations.

 

I did stuble upon a website called systems approach to Vedic astrology that claims to be simpler to apply with good accuracy (website: yournetastrologer.com). I have decided to give it a shot.

 

I wonder if anyone of you has heard of it or has any opinion.

The approach doesn't conclude anything. What I have found is that these guys are very general. There are just too many variables which can be mainuplated to suit advice.

I have just been studying some of my close friends charts and also the new baby prince George. I am also revising my previous classes especially murhurta's and recently I was asked by my brother on when he should do a planned cesiarian for his 2nd baby. That was a good experience. What do you think of Prince George kundli?  Too me it is very basic. I am sure that we have seen horoscopes then that of average people like you and me. I suppose 'desa, kala pathra'.  Would you like to analyse this horoscope? I will not tell you anything about this person besides she is my mum. 30 April 1956, Suva, Fiji and my nani says that she was born around 11 pm. It is good to keep in touch.
 
Also can someone help me on guruji's class on dosa's where you are looking at a chart at time of death to see where the person will be going?  There were 3, one was where the person came from, other was where he was going from time of birth and third was where he would go at time of death. I don't like to see where the person would be going from birth chart because what he does at this life is crucial but at the time of death, there should be some correlation. This was more for interest. If you guys like, check this one out. My nana at the time of death. 20 May 2008 12pm Brisbane Australia. What do you think??

I have almost given up trying to understand Astrology now :( Maybe Nature will rekindle my interest in future but for now I am concentrating more on my Meditation and other spiritual stuff.

I recently read an amazing book 'Power Vs Force' by David R Hawkins. It is an eye opener and I urge all to read it.

I also recently saw an amazing documentary on 'water'. Sounds simple huh? Just see the documentary and you realize water is the most amazing and spiritual substance on Earth. The confirmation comes from leading physicists and scientists. I urge everyone to see the documentary, as it as application for our and our near and dear ones lives. For example you can improve the properties of water by merely having a feeling of thankfulness before drinking it.

Anyone really interested can send me the personal mail id and I will send a link to my google drive....it's a must see.

Sorry I digressed from the subject of Astrology but wanted to share some of the amazing things out there which will benefit mankind immensely

I would be interested to take my learning and practice  forward with you, whenever we both can connect together over gmail chat. Study and practice wise i'm at a point where i'm able to reasonably predict well but only on others charts and i'm completely not able to predict anything or decipher on my own chart especially marriage matters. But otherwise the discussion keeps my interest fired up. Although i have stopped reading books and directly looking at charts of my friends, analyzing the past events and etc etc and tying things together.

 

But it would be really nice if we all somehow can get online once a week or more often if time permits and have a group discussion etc online. That would be a really good idea.

 

These days i'm more focussed on saturn and reading the book "the greatness of saturn". Very nice book, most of you have must have read it already....

 

Do let me know and we all can catch up sometime online or make it a recurring event.

We can all make a group and start research on google plus.

What I strongly recommend is to start reading ancient puranas,  Bhagvat Gita and all old ancient scriptures one by one. Later on you will find their connection with word by word of astrology.

1. Basic reading of both the horoscopes from 7th house, 7th lord , 2nd house 2nd lord prespe ctive.

2. Analysis of Marriage promoting house 2,7,11 and marriage destroying houses 1,6,10

3. Linkages of house 8,12 with 7th house.

4. Navamsa Chart analysis

5. Analysis basis Nadi astrology

6. Analysis Basis Krishnamurti padhati on Cuspal lords.

7. Nakshatra compatiability

8. Darapada and Upapada analysis basis Jamini system.

The guna milan system is one of the things which one should check but is a fraction of confirmation. I can show you many horoscopes where all 32 gunas match but still marriage ended in Divorce.

I shall come back on each of these points over a period of time as lot of things need to be seen before we conclude.

Analysis basis KP system

Analysis of 7th Cusp

The 7th cusp has star constellation of Mercury who is Significator of 5,6,8,10. Except 5th house which is house of love , all other houses which are getting promoted  are marriage negating houses. 7th cusp Sublord is Rahu who is significating 3,4,9 house. Hence on Cuspal star level , ansawer is negative while on sublord level, there is no signification of 2,11 houses. 

We can conclude that 7th Cusp is not strong from the perspective of marriage and marital bliss. Further If Mercury owns the house or is the star lord, there are strong chances of multiple marriages.

Timing of marriage

Rule 1 - Planets in the constellation of occupants are the strongest significators.

There are no occupants of 7th house. Hence this rule is not applicable.

Rule 2 : planets in constellation of owners are next strong significators.

7th house is owned by Moon and Jupiter and Mars are in constellation of Moon. Jupiter is significating 2,7,11 and 12. Hence Jupiter period will give him marriage and in antardasa and Mahadasa of Jupiter, his married life will be good.

Mars is promoting 3,7,8,10,11. The signification of 8 and 10 are not good whereas 7,11 are good for marriage. 

Therefore Mars periods in his life will see mixed results of good and bad marital relations.

Hence Moon , Jupiter and Mars periods will bring marriage for him.

From the chart below, his Dasa period is Sun-Mercury and after that its Sun-Ketu and then Sun-Venus. The next Mahadasa is Moon. His age right now is 28 and in my calculations his marriage will happen post March 2015 .

My two penny worth:

The Boy's horoscope has Saturn Delay --which means minimum 27.5 years minus 7 months so close to 27 years.

So the delay period gets over when it will be-->

15-Nov-2012 --->.

There are other minor delays.

Sun_Venus is a possibility.

Marriage in the sub period of Moon, Sun and Saturn and Mercury is dicey for the purpose of a good marriage.

In Moon--It can be Moon-Mars, Moon-Rahu and Moon-Jup.

Need to look at transits to chose from there .

I prefer Khullar which is more fine tuned than KP but requires Time to be very accurate or rectification to be done before going for prediction to the day.
