A recent survey revealed that a number of voters were not aware of major news stories regarding the presidential candidates prior to the election.

Around one sixth of people surveyed said they would not have voted for Biden if they had.

The major stories included:

* the financial dealings of Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, with foreign countries and individuals,
* the sexual assault accusation by Tara Reade against Joe Biden from the 1990s,
* the creation of over 11 million new jobs between May and September 2020 under President Donald Trump,
* the United States achieving energy independence under Trump.
