I changed the location of the temp folder, but after that, encoding
does not work any more.
I mounted a volume: /mnt/upload and created a temp folder there: /mnt/
upload/tmp.
On encoding, I get this error message:
Unable to transcode file 959489d0-f98c-012c-46fc-1231390a9532:
ArgumentError - comparison of Float with nil failed
and in the new tmp-folder, I find these files:
-rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 67 2010-02-11 22:42 959489d0-
f98c-012c-46fc-1231390a9532.mp4
-rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 2622 2010-02-11 22:42 959489d0-
f98c-012c-46fc-1231390a9532.mp4.temp.audio.mp4
-rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 24572 2010-02-11 22:42 959489d0-
f98c-012c-46fc-1231390a9532.mp4.temp.audio.wav
-rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 81602 2010-02-11 22:42 959489d0-
f98c-012c-46fc-1231390a9532.mp4.temp.video.mp4
where the 67-bytes-file contains this string:
ftypisomisom/freeIsoMedia File Produced with GPAC 0.4.4
I found a related issue here:
and the answer is: it does not depend on the source video. If I leave
the temp folder on /var/tmp/videos, everything works fine.
Any hint strongly appreciated.
