Second raid was just as awesome as the last.

Disclaimer: many hunters and pets were harmed in the making of these downs.

So, we started with a group of six - Sebinox, Drafalgar, Durendil, Lexé, Helldz and Elgine. Sebinox helped me tank (and did quite a good job too). I didn't believe we could do SG 25, so I decided to try 10-man. It was a massacre, pure and simple. Poor boss.

Difficulty: none. I believe a single pet died.

Is it doable in 25-man?

I believe we'd need a little more dps, and maybe a third tank - If we were 7 it should be possible, I'll try it later.

Then we went on to Feng 25. Drafalgar had to leave, but Gold joined us before I decided to switch to 10-man (first person to arrive just in the nick of time). So we tried again and again, making steady progress. We had to survive in phase 1, burst and survive in phase 2 - Gold had the good idea to increase his run time during the 1-2 transition - and then survive in phase 3. It was very demanding but in the end we succeeded.

Difficulty: a perfect challenge. We barely had the dps/survival, but we had it. So we had to give our all, and finally we got him, barely.

Doable in 25H: No. We were taking so much damage that unless we get like 20 hunters to burst him, we will die. However, 10H could be interesting. If only hunters could grab the crystals.

I actually didn't believe Gara'jal doable in 25-man, and the first tries did hint to it. the main problem was his extremely high pet damage and his voodoo dolls - if you got one on you, you had to FD and stay down, or die. The adds also were a nuisance. But Ottanok arrived (second person connecting right when we need him). So everyone learned to judge when they should feign death before they grabbed aggro, Helldz did the adds like a hunter, and finally Gara'jal was slain.

Difficulty: also a perfect challenge. I really liked the "never take aggro" rule, it really adds a new dimension to the boss. That and the fact that pets die quickly, so it's actually easy to get aggro.

Doable in 25H: I don't see why not, but we're going to need more hunters.

Next we decided to do spirit kings 25. Gold and Lexxé had to go, so we were 5. One shot, one kill. The only difficulties were aggro in P1 - the boss resets pet aggro with each swing, and he one-shots, and the maddening shouts, also called "that moment were you need to take 40K but you get hit by a 200k crit". Getting killed by friends hurts :) Is it because I finished the nutella?

Difficulty: low. Only one-shotted 25-man boss for the moment.

Doable in 25H? We would need maybe another tank and also no mistakes in phases 1 and 4. Totally doable.

Finally, we made our way to Elegon. Elgine left us, so I feared the worst, but then Elvenppath appeared! That's the 3rd hunter that arrives just when we are one hunter short of downing a boss. It was a good day. Either way, he was no pushover. Dealing with both boss and add was difficult - we had 2 tanks, the boss hits hard, if he has no targets he kills everyone, and the add also hits hard. But we finally managed it. Getting the necessary dps to get only one add was also difficult, since dealing with the add could cost a lot in dps if done wrong. Then there were the orbs. 6 orbs, 5 hunters, do the math. We put our MM hunter on the 2-hunter side and our best BM dps with him, and they managed 5 waves. So we did five waves and another five, wiped, redid the same and downed the boss as he was.

Difficulty: perfect challenge. Are we sure it isn't christmas yet? Either way, we barely could do it, we barely did, yippee!

Doable in 25H? With more hunters, definitely, especially if we do more than 5 five waves.

So that was all for this Sunday, we had 3 challenging bosses, it was great! Thanks to all those that came even for a part of the raid, I'm hoping that next time you won't miss any of the fun! See you next week :)
