Sunday, July 6th - Will of the emperor, Protectors of the endless, Tsulong, Lei shi

So we gathered together to down more bosses!

The hunters were: Snapjer, Durendil, Ottanok, Elgine, Sebinox and Drafalgar.

At first, we went to clear Mogu'shan Vaults. Due to the fact that they hit our pets for 500K in 10-man, we decided not to try 25-man with only 6 hunters.

We tried doing it the old-fashioned way, which ended in pets dying, hunters grabbing aggro, and being grabbed by the boss's debuff (that gets the target in melee range whenever he leaves it), then dying. It's always more complicated when we can't kite.

So we ended up kiting with our pets - not the best dps method, but survival-wise it worked. 2 tanks per boss, and 2 hunters on adds, and finaly they went down.

Difficulty: Hard, we couldn't have done it with less than 5, and even with 6 it was a challenge, but they still died pretty quickly.

Doable in 25-man? Definitely, I'd say we use 6 tanks in star formation and the rest dps the adds.

Then we went to the heart of fear with 5 hunters, got our asses repeatedly handed to us by Un'sok, and decided to go to the terrace.

First, the protectors of the endless. We didn't have enough people for 25-man mode, so we did it in 10-man. The hard part was bursting the first boss, since lightning prison was murder, and never missing a single heal - we really needed that buff. After that it was about running around to avoid the water bolts while keeping on taking the heals. It was hard, we barely made it, but we did it.

Difficulty: hard, we barely did it. It may not look like it, but the first burst was really intense, and for the remainder of the fight a single mistake could kill you.

Doable in 25-man? We just need more hunters, and it should be easier.

Then we went on to Tsulong. We wiped the first time to a terrorize, so for the second try we did a stun rotation with intimidation on the large adds, then it was a matter of bursting them really hard.

Difficulty: he wasn't hard, the only challenge was killing the adds quickly enough. So we couldn't have done it with less hunters, but he wasn't challenging either.

Doable in 25-man? Definitely, we just need enough hunters to kill the big adds fast enough.

Finally, we went to kill Lei Shi. After a failed try in 25-man where we realized our lack of dps, we decided to do it in 10-man. The two difficulties where the hiding phase - finding her with just four hunters, while being attacked by Lei shi since he didn't attack our pets during this phase, which incidentally was very damaging - and the add phases. Between the fact they two-shotted pets and hunters, but they were slow, it was a multi-mob kiting challenge where we had to remain reactive to survive. But we reacted well, and the boss went down.

Difficulty: it was a real challenge, since strategy didn't really apply: we had to make split-second decisions, so it was fun!

Doable in 25-man? Yes, as always, we just need more hunters.

For the next raid, we really need a fair number of hunters for Un'sok and Sha of fear, they aren't doable with 5 persons (ominous cackle is unfair :))
