Error in installation of Linaro Ubuntu 11.10

when trying to install it on the board i have encountered this
problem. Any help would be appreciated.

umount your sdcard before using linaro-media-create, dd or cat to the sdcard.

It says the partitions are being used at the moment and because of
this it couldn't format the device. I think it is because something
from the card is being used or open like a file or something else.
Maybe some unknown program using a file within card, eclipse etc.
Please check it.
