Hello,

I am trying to install Bambu tools. I downloaded the VM, but it hangs and doesn't open when I try to run the VM. Am I missing a step?

Thank you,
Martin

Hello,

I am trying to install the Bambu tools. I downloaded the VM image from the website, but it just hangs when I try to start the VM. I tried both 32 and 64 bit VMs. Am I missing a step?

This is the link to the virtual machines.

Thank you,

Dear Martin,
let me see if regenerating the VM works. I saw that newer version of VirtualBox may have some issue with the Vagrant generated VM.
I'll notify once the VM will be ready,
Cheers,
Fabrizio

Dear Martin,
could you please check if the newer versions of the VMs are now working?
Cheers,
Fabrizio

Hello,

Thank you for the response! Actually, now I can't download the VM image anymore. When I click on the link to download the new version of the VM, I am getting an error message: "Operation failed"

Hello,

I can downloaded the image now, but unfortunately it fails to open. I get this error message:
"RawFile#0 failed to create the raw output file /dev/null (VERR_PATH_NOT_FOUND)."

I'm running virtualbox on Windows.

Thank you,
Martin

Martin,
the solution to the Vagrant freezes (timeouts) at SSH auth method: private key [1] creates an issue on Windows hosts.
So, I adopt another solution that does not freeze vagrant and do not use the uart [2].
I'll notify you once the new VM will be ready.
Cheers,
Fabrizio

Martin,
could you please check now the 64bit VM?
Cheers,
Fabrizio
