L2/L3 Development Position

Job Responsibilities – 
Review SRS, high level, low level design, Test strategies. Able to do complex design for Layer2/ Layer3 Metro Ethernet protocol development,. Should be able to do critical coding and perform code reviews, Able to debug complex critical issues, Review critical test procedures, Perform critical unit testing, integration testing and system testing. Good understanding about the IEEE standards. Understand SDLC and work as per Aricent QMS, Accountable for the quality of his / her own work, Should be self driven in taking up activities for improving team’s productivity and optimized implementation which would save man months. Technically lead a team of size of 8 to10 people driving for designing /development of multiple modules after knowing the higher level picture of the project. Good communication skills with good customer orientation. To drive ISS proposals technically by understanding and estimating the requirements.

Mandatory Skills: In depth knowledge in testing Layer 2 protocols like VLAN, GVRP, MVRP, RSTP, MSTP, IGMP, Port Mirroring, experience in configuration and setup of various industry standard products like Cisco/Juniper routers & switches for testing, experience in writing Tcl/tk scripts for test automation, expert in Tcl/tk, Linux.
