RE PANANJADI TEMPLE-INSTALLATION OF MURUGAN VIGRAHAM

I would like to recall, our efforts to install BALAMURUGAN in our temple. BALAMURUGAN VIGRAHAM has since been received and awaiting for installation from early January,2015. In this connection,I invite your kind attention of my  mail dated May, 27 2015 , addressed to Shri. M. Ramakrishnan with copies to all Trustees regarding the status on the above issue which has been delayed for months.

 

On 17-6-2015, Sri. Subramanian and myself had a meeting with Shri. Sudhakaran Panickar , at Bangalore . Shri.Panickar, as his name suggests belongs to Kerala, an expert in ‘Deiva Prasnam’ and is well known in Delhi, Bangalore besides Kerala, We narrate below the clarifications, we sought from him on temple matters and advise the same for the member’s knowledge.

 

As regards the status of the temple Mr. Panickar observed that Lord Vinayakamurthy, NavaneethaKrishnaswamy and Kasi Viswanathar and Visalakshi  are in happy disposition and are powerful. The temple structure and Vigrahas are in good condition and the Gods are much pleased. .This would indeed bring forth welfare to the Pananjadi village and Pananjadian’s family with their benign blessings.

 

As regards Nithya Poojas at the temple he had noted in the ‘prasanam’ that much need to be done as the Archagar has not been performing with ‘shruddha’ and .not offering prasadams to the Gods with dedications. This is a negative aspect and much was said on this subject. It was suggested to keep ‘suddha’ and to ward off any negative elements to enter the temple which is otherwise protected by the powerful Gods- to replace the present Archagar , with a new person. Alternatively, it was  suggested that the Senior Iyengar (father of Adi) could be asked to come on auspicious days like Sankatahara Chathurthi etc. to perform Abhishekam and poojas  properly.  Mr. Panickar warned that the present Archagar (AADHI ) should ensure cleanliness as otherwise the Bhoothas waiting around the temple may  cause harm  to his health. As of now, these creatures of vicious nature moving around the temple have been kept away by the power of God.

 

As regards the  installation of ‘ Bala Murugan’ Mr. Panickar said it would happen with the combined efforts of the Trustees and the temple would earn fame and become very prominent. Even the Brahamin families who have left PANANJADI VILLAGE and others would come back to ensure that the temple poojas are conducted regularly. The village would also grow in stature and prosper.

 

As for construction of the compound wall, the prasanam indicated that a stone wall would be preferable instead of a temporary fence. As for indicating the place where ‘Bala Murgan’ statue to be installed he said that could not be indicated through ‘prasanam’ as it is done by ‘sthpathi’ and those knowing ‘vasthu’ sasthras.

 

The overall view from the Deiva Prasanam is that, the delay  a) in installing ‘Bala Murugan’ b) in  getting the approval from E.O.and c) in repairing ceiling (roof-top) and construction of wall etc. would no more be there with concerted efforts of one and all and the blessingsof  SRI VINAYAKAMURTHY/SRI NAVEETHA KRISHNASWAMY.

 

 It is good news for all of us to gear up once again and ensure that, the unfinished task is completed at the earliest. It is very good to note that, the God’s adorning the temple are happy and showering their benign blessings to one and all. .Mr. Panickar also indicated that no ‘pariharams’ are required to be performed excepting that the sanctity of the temple is maintained.

 

I am going to Kayatharu Village on 20^th June and will be visiting the Pananjadi Village to take stock of the situation. I will be there up to 27^th June or so and meet the Senior Iyengar and try to convince .him on the need of his presence at the temple at regular intervals. I will be meeting EO to move the papers and try to get the sthpathi for the construction and other work.

 

After my visit, I will come out with process of proceeding with the work and submit the estimate and would seek the MEMBERS/ TRUSTEE’s wholehearted participation in completing the work with the blessings of Sree Vinayakamurthy,Sree Navaneetha Krishnaswamy..

 

I would welcome the suggestion of members in ensuring smooth passage of the plan and your kind response for the welfare all the members of the Pananjadian families.
