Summary of the points discussed on SECOND MEETING of PANANJADIANS held on 2nd September 2012 at Chennai
1) The meeting started with a prayer seeking the blessings of VINAYAKAMURTHY. SRI P.S MANI IYER, Chairman, conducted the proceedings. Members, who have attended for the first time, introduced themselves. In all 27 members attended the meeting
2) SRI .R PADMANABHAN briefed the salient points of ALAYAPRASANNAM and the steps now taken for performing the pariharams According to the JOSIER, both VINAYAKAMURTHY and NAVEETHA KRISHNASWAMY have equal sannithyam and the time is appropriate to proceed further
JOSIER further observed that the invisible power of VINAYAKAMURTHY cannot be explained. It is for every family member to keep on praying the KULADEIVAM SRI VINAYAKAMURTHY and seek HIS BLESSINGS all the time. According to JOSIER, all those who are involving them selves in this ALAYA THIRUPANI are incited by HIM and HIS GRACE will be there for their family
3) Members unanimously have agreed to form a TRUST to look after the affairs of the Renovation Work, organising the NITHYA POOJAS at the temple, plan for KUMBABHISEKHAM at an early date. Members accepted the name of the TRUST to be PANANJADIANS FAMILY TRUST.

Out of total number of nine trustees, seven have been nominated.
The Trust Deed will be signed on 19.09.2012 being the Vinayaka Chathurthi day.
4) To manage the day-to-day activities at the village /Tirunelveli and to coordinate various related works, the Chairman announced the following as MEMBERS of the COORDINATION COMMITTEE

5) Members accepted the suggestion to open THE TRUST’S BANK ACCOUNT with INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK –CHENNAI. The account can be opened after the Trust Deed is signed as above stated.
6) Sri Muthukrishnan suggested as a first step we should regularise the DAILY POOJAS.
After discussions, it was agreed that Sri K Sankarasubramanian is to coordinate with members interested in Nithya Pooja kainkaryam and advise further steps to be taken in this regard. All members felt that this area must be given top priority
Until the bank account is opened, any collections for Nithya Pooja and preliminary expenses will be done on individual basis to be regularised with official receipt after the account is opened.
Whenever members visit the Pananjadi temple, they are requested in advance to contact SRI SRINIVASA VENKATARAMA IYENGAR - the present archakar over phone (Land Line 04634-291435) -generally he attends to all us. If necessary members can also contact the Coordinating Committee member, who in turn can assist suitably.
7) Sri Padmanabhan briefed various stages of preliminary works before we start CIVIL WORK
Sri Padmanabhan observed that a detailed report on the activities including the suggestion from Civil Engineer for renovation could be gathered during the next 45/60 days. In our next meeting, the Estimates can be discussed once a final shape on civil work is identified. In the meantime, to carry on the function of the Trust, Sri Raman suggested members could remit a part of their contribution to the TRUST.
The Chairman thanked the Members for their valuable suggestions.
Next meeting date is to be communicated after a further progress in the preliminary works.
