Dear everyone,

this is just a quick reminder of tomorrow's deadline for the
submission of the camera-ready versions of your notebook papers. The
deadline is sharp, this time.

Best,
Martin

Dear Martin,

I hope you are doing well. First of all thank you for organizing this
exciting competition. We are ready to upload our paper thought the
easychair system, but I wonder how should I upload the paper as a
new-submission or as a new version of the abstract. Many thanks in
advance for your help,

Best,

Hugo Jair

Hi Hugo,

please upload the paper as a replacement of your abstract. Also,
please include the word DOC with your 400-word abstract as an
additional file.

Thanks for asking,
Martin

HI Hugo,

indeed, instead of replacing the old submission, please submit your
working notes paper as a new submission!

Thanks for catching this,
Martin

Hi there,

I wonder if this 'New submission' procedure really makes sense.

I think that the CLEF website assumes that this is the first time the
paper for the working notes is going to be submitted.

Do we really want to have two copies of the same submission?

I wait for your reply.

Best,

David Pinto

Also true; I stand corrected. So, everything is as it was before.
Simply upload your final paper to EasyChair, overwriting your earlier
submission.

Thanks you, David, for being more awake than I am at the moment. :-)

Hi Jose,

We've got a DOC template on our web pages:
http://www.uni-weimar.de/medien/webis/research/events/pan-12/pan12-web/pan12-notebook-template.zip

But the template for the extended abstract at the CLEF level is the one on this page: http://clef2012.org/index.php?page=Pages/instructions_for_authors.html

Hi Graeme,

I guess you're right! However, if you used our template, they will be
able to reformat it.
