Dear participants of the author identification task,

Please note that you should not assume that the verification problems included in the corpus are completely independent. Namely, it is likely the known documents of problems X and Y to be by the same author. In addition, it is likely the known documents of problem X and the unknown document of problem Y to be by the same author.

Regards,

Stathis

Dear Dr. Potthast,

I'm part of one of the teams doing the author identification task. We have

noticed that six of the Spanish entries (5,7,11,15,17 and 23) in the dataset

have the same known text called "La pizzera de Nápoles" (the same author). Is it ok?

Best,

Aldo Porco
