Dear everyone,

this is to let you know we have finalized the workshop program and put
it online right at the front page of http://pan.webis.de.

To accommodate as many speakers as possible, we have resorted to
giving everyone a short talk slot (10 minute talk plus 5 minute
discussion). Only some of the overview talks, the keynotes, and the
winner of this year's Wikipedia quality flaw prediction task get to
speak longer.

So, please locate you talk slot in the program and prepare a talk that
fits into the slot assigned to you.
Please make sure your talk stays within the given time bounds.

Given the fact that everyone will be talking more or less about the
same thing, namely their approach to solving the given tasks, there is
the risk of a lot of redundancy across talks, for instance, everyone
introducing the tasks over and over again.

This is why we would like you to structure your talk as follows:
- Slide 1: Who are you?
- Slides 2-n: Detailed description of your approach to task X.
[- Slides (n+1)-m: Detailed description of your approach to task Y, if
applicable]
- Slide m+1: Conclusions.

More importantly:
- Do not include a motivation or introduction of the tasks.
- Do not waste time on "Agenda"-Slides or similar.
- Do not show the performance of your approach. This will be taken
care of by the overview talks that contains a slide contrasting the
performances of all participants, and that will be shown in-between
talks.
- Please describe only how your approach works.

You can send your slides to me via email once you have finished them,
and I'll take care of putting them on the presentation laptop. But
this is not a necessity. If you do not send me the slides beforehand,
please approach the session chair before your session starts in order
to allow for a smooth transitions of talkers.

Thanks, and we're looking forward to meeting you in Rome!

Best regards,
Martin
