External REST requests

Dear organizers, 

We are using a RESTful tool for NLP analysis in our system that is not straightforward to install. We were wondering if is it possible to perform external request to one of our machines hosting this tool to prevent installing it in the provided PAN Virtual Machine.

Dear Rafa,

I'm afraid, this won't work. During testing, the virtual machine
is cut off from the network so that only inbound connections from
our university's network are allowed.

It'd be best, if you would deploy resources you need on the VM as
well. This also supports sustainability, since the VM would then be
self-contained.
