Using LLM APIs in submissions?

Dear Colleagues, 

 

I hope this finds you well. Planning to submit our work to the upcoming PAN, I was wondering whether it is allowed to call external commercial APIs in the submission? If this is the case, how can this be organized? By providing an API key with sufficient amount of credits along with the submission? 

 

I would be grateful for clarification.

Dear Gleb,

That depends on the task you want to participate in. Tasks that are submitted to Tira (such as the Generative AI detection subtask 1), will be sandboxed without access to third-party services.
