Hi everybody,

Urkund might be interested to participate to your contest, however, I am not sure we, as a commercial company, can take part of this competition. Isn't it only reserve to researchers?

If we, as a commercial solution, can take part of the competition, we confirm our interest.

I must add that Urkund proposes to all the French laboratories a free Urkund license. This license is only to be used within the scope of the laboratories (Research Papers, Publications of Research, Thesis) and can't be used for teaching purpose (Essay, etc.).
Urkund is about proposing this to Spanish, Benelux and German researchers.

At the moment, the procedure to get a free license (automatically renewed after a year) is to fill up a form and send it by fax with the agreements signed. It is for now in only French but Spanish and German version will be soon released. Form and agreement can be downloaded at www.urkund.fr/CNRS/LLR.htm

I hope that information can help.

Best Regards,

Jérémie ALLIAUME

Dear Jérémie,

We would be happy to have you on board.

Isn't it only reserve to researchers?

No, everyone can participate, which includes research and industry.

If we, as a commercial solution, can take part of the competition, we confirm our interest.

Thank you.

There is no need to grant a license of Urkund, I guess, since your software engineers will have to adapt your detection software to work on the competition corpus. There is no requirement to release your detection software to the public, if you happen to win the competition.

If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Martin

I may precise that Urkund doesn't grant a license for the purpose of your competition but offers a free license anytime for any european lab of research.
