LPKM 2017 : International Workshop on Language Processing and Knowledge Management | |
Call For Papers | |
Development of new technologies and various intelligent systems creates new possibilities for intelligent and efficient data processing. Natural Language Processing (NLP) addresses problems of automated understanding, processing and generation of natural human languages. The LPKM’17 workshop organized by ANLP Group (MIRACL Laboratory – Sfax, Tunisia) provides a venue for presenting innovative research in NLP related, but not restricted, to: computational and mathematical modeling, analysis and processing of any forms (spoken, handwritten or text) of human language, but extended also to knowledge creation and management. This workshop will provide an opportunity for researchers working in the domain of NLP to discuss present and future challenges as well as potential collaboration for future progress in the field of NLP. Topics The submitted papers shall cover research and developments in all NLP aspects, such as (however this list is not exhaustive): - text analysis - language networks - text classification - various forms of text recognition - machine translation - text-to-speech (TTS) and speech-to-text (STT) methods - authorship identification and verification - author profiling - computational methods applied to language & text processing - plagiarism detection - knowledge extraction and retrieval from text and natural language structures - multi-modal and natural language interfaces - sentiment analysis - language-oriented applications and tools - NLP applications in education - language networks, resources and corpora Paper submission Authors should submit papers in PDF format. The total length of a paper should not exceed 10 pages LNCS style (including tables, figures and references). LNCS style templates are available on the website: https://lpkm2017.sciencesconf.org/ Papers will be refereed and accepted on the basis of their scientific merit and relevance to the workshop. Proceedings shall be submitted to CEUR-WS.org for online publication.
