SSH port closed in TIRA web interface

HI, 

I have successfully been able to access my VM and run my code inside it via the terminal. However, when I log in via the TIRA web interface in order to add software and do a proper run, it says: "Waiting. Please wait until the port states are resolved". The RDP port is open, but the SSH port is closed, and this goes on and on despite waiting (and shutting off and on the VM make no difference). I find it strange since I am able to access the VM via ssh when logging in via the terminal. Any suggestions of what to do?
