Dear everyone,

I am new to PAN and have a very basic doubt.

I am required to submit a command line executable software for PAN. It is unclear to me what exactly is meant by it. Does it mean I need to submit a single (or multiple interdependent) executable files only.

To be precise I am using an open source search engine to index and preprocess my corpus (to save me some time from reinventing wheel and fire). I then use the index in my actual code to perform the attribution/profiling task. How should the submission be done in this case ?
Am I allowed to deploy the open source code(for indexing) along with my own code(for attribution) and then call them sequentially via shell script ?

Hi Parth,

on your virtual machine, you are free to use whatever tool or
programming language your prefer. You can use existing tools or write
your own.

All we require of you is that we can run your software from the
command line as described on your task's web page. But otherwise your
software can work as you prefer.
