Subject: Bike Bridge Installation - Postponed to tentatively June 5/6

Dear Community Members,

I am disappointed to inform you that the bridge installation over Highway 101 for this weekend, May 29/30, has been canceled. Although the contractor had obtained the proper permits for transporting the bridge section through Nevada, the Nevada Highway Patrol was unable to provide the escort needed to transport the bridge from the Arizona/Nevada border to the Nevada/California border in time for this weekend’s installation. We are currently projecting the arrival of the bridge section at the job site next week. The contractor and project team is tentatively rescheduling the installation of bridge June 5/6, pending availability of Nevada and California Highway Patrols to meet this schedule.

We are sorry for any inconvenience, and look forward to moving forward with this important construction milestone very soon.

Sincerely,

Megha Bansal

Senior Project Manager
