Dear Friends,

As a discovery partner of the Global Social Benefit Incubator (GSBITM) at Santa Clara University, it is our pleasure to announce open applications for the 10th Anniversary GSBI class of 2012.

The GSBI empowers socially-minded entrepreneurs to build sustainable, scalable organizations that solve problems for people living in poverty around the world. The GSBI is a combination of online, experiential, and skill-building offerings in a mentored, ten-month program culminating with a two week in-residence at Santa Clara University in the heart of Silicon Valley.

Since 2003, 139 award-winning social enterprises have attended this program to become part of a growing network of alumni for creating a more just and sustainable world. Nearly 95% of GSBI alumni are still working in their social ventures and more than 50 percent are scaling. More than 70 million people have benefited from the work of the GSBI alumni network. Of those organizations that are scaling, approximately 80 percent report that the GSBI had a “high” or “very high” impact on the success of their organizations.

To learn more about how you can win a scholarship to develop key components of your organizational plan and work with a Silicon Valley executive mentor team to take your organization to the next level visit http://www.scu.edu/socialbenefit/programs/gsbi/ or to apply, visit www.socialedge.org

  • Applications are available for download from SocialEdge on December 6, 2011
  • Applications can be submitted on SocialEdge beginning on January 3, 2012

Warm regards,
