As I mentioned over the phone, USIBC recently launched our Green India efforts in great earnest and this is a serious focus area for us. I want to share the details of the upcoming USIBC-CII Green India Executive Mission to New Delhi, this October 26-30
Renewable energy is the major focus of our Mission. Objectives of the GREEN INDIA Executive Mission are to:
• Assess commercial opportunities in India's promising clean-energy and environmental sectors;
• Understand better the relevant legal and regulatory regimes;
• Meet with potential private- and public-sector partners; and
• Advocate for policy reforms conducive to deeper trade and investment in clean energy and environmental technologies.
Our Special Advisor for this Mission is Mr. V. Subramanian, Secretary General of the Indian Wind Energy Association, and former Secretary of the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy. With guidance from him and our partners, we’ve developed a solid agenda, which I am attaching for your review
Please feel free to forward the Green India Mission information to the companies/firms and others within the PANIIT audience in the US that you think would be interested in joining.
