Saga Dawa is the fourth month of the Tibetan lunar calendar. It is considered a very holy month, as the birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana of Shakyamuni Buddha are all commemorated during this month. The lunar 15th (full moon) of this month (June 5th) is Saga Dawa Düchen, the day marking the enlightenment and parinirvana of the Buddha. On this day, positive and negative actions are multiplied ten million times.
