Advocacy Opportunity - Help Our Little Urban Farm

Good Afternoon Neighbors,

I wanted to share an opportunity to advocate for our little urban farm that we are working hard to get up and running. DC Council is currently hearing testimony for agency performance oversight and this is a great chance for you to shout out the great work being done by DPR (we love our new park!!) and also to put in a plug for more that can be done to help support them. You have until the Monday, January 31st so please take a little time to help lift the need for more full-time staff in DPR's Urban Garden Program. To maintain the amazing programs they provide - trainings, education, FREE produce giveaways - and even expand to add MORE FARMS across the city they need at least 2 new full time positions (FTEs).
