Good Morning,

As part of the redesign or Powell Park, I requested the inclusion of a small, unused space for our community to access for an urban agriculture opportunity. A big THANK YOU to DPR for working hard to make that happen!! The space has been transferred and prepped for use, so now it's time to get to work and lay out our next steps.

Join your neighbors and DPR at Powell Park* (3149 16th St) to kick-off the conversation on how our community can maximize use of this space:

*This is an outdoor, socially distanced activity - 😷 mask as needed.

I've attached a photo of one of the area gardens I had the pleasure of visting and will send out more prep materials for folks to review along with more examples of similar use across other DPR and community spaces.
