It's time to plant!
Join your neighbors for the first planting at the Powell Communal Farm THIS Saturday!!

After a lot of hard work this spring building the mini farm we're finally ready to plant. Join us this Saturday
June 4th, 4-6pm to help plant the farm. The Farm is located at
3149 16th St NW in Powell park in between tennis courts and a church. The parking
lot is now open too!!!

if you're coming in case there are any changes.
There are plenty of other chances to volunteer, and we will be hosting evening hours starting this week so stay tuned!!

This Month’s Evening Open Hours Schedule
Tuesday June 7th, 6-8pm - Powell Communal Farm
Thursday – Powell Communal Farm – 10-2pm
- Final bed prep before planting (weeding and cutting planting holes in landscape fabric)
- Wood chip paths
- Make more English/Spanish signage
- Cut down rest of invasive trees/dig out roots
Friday - May have an extra work day at either Lederer Gardens or Powell communal Farm. Will send an update later in week.
