Dear Madam / Dear Sir,
This poll mainly conducted on the perception of the Palestinians of their deteriorating economic situation. The results reveal that the Palestinians are very much worried about their economic situation, which might still further be affected by the heinous murder of the three Israeli teenagers. We very much hope that things will improve and that this vicious circle of violence and counter-violence, this tit for tat, would come to an end and the two sides, Palestinians and Israelis, would live side-by-side in peace and harmony. The highlights of the findings are as follows:
(60.8 %) of the Palestinians evaluate their economic situation as “bad”.
(54.1%) believe that the economic situation will retrogress, particularly following the abduction of the Israeli teenagers.
(68.3 %) are worried about the subsistence of their families.
