ME End-of-Semester Update

So here is what the ME's have been up to:

• The U Idaho team has been working on their project snapshot, which happened on Dec 5th
• We will be turning in our project portfolio for review on Thursday
• We more our first parts order: o-rings! Stepper motors are soon to follow
• Due to the high cost of stainless steel parts, we might try 3D printing some of our gears. Mike from NAVSEA has yet to get back to us on if we could use their printer / how much it would cost.
• The marker dropper had some redesigning done on it
• We've expressed some concerns about the sub design using a hull with a hinge on it. This and possible alternatives are going to be brought up in our next meeting.
