2-15-14 Meeting Notes

This meeting discussed continued work on the sub from all three teams. Teams gave updates on design progress, and interdisciplinary discussions were conducted to ensure the final product comes together seamlessly.

The EE team is currently working on prototyping for the PIC32, porting the code currently made to be compatible with the new sub, and PCB design.

The ME team is in the process of ordering parts, and is back on track after dealing with some administrative hurdles.

The CS team is finalizing camera positions, continuing development on vision recognition, and committing various other submitted modules to the master branch. They have also begun putting up the new website.

We also discussed the importance of taking pictures/video of this design process. There are countless benefits to this multimedia exposure, such as content for our new website. All teams are encouraged to appropriately document the following weeks of development. That concludes this Robosub update. Although this meeting was short and sweet, the Dana 3 lab is consistently populated with Robosub members. Keep it up team!
