Machine Vision Camera Options

There are many different camera options to choose from for the sub's vision system. One option that I have seen several other successful teams use is machine vision cameras. These cameras are generally high speed with sensitive sensors which is what I think we need. I'm not sure about all of the requirements for the sub's vision, so I don't really know if these types of cameras are the best option or not. The cost for these cameras is a lot more than a webcam, but they would also probably provide a lot better performance. This company has some nice-looking cameras that are relatively inexpensive compared to some other options. Note that these cameras do not come with a lens. The lens must be purchased separately. This company also provides some inexpensive lens options.
