There are many different camera options to choose from for the sub's vision system. One option that I have seen several other successful teams use is machine vision cameras. These cameras are generally high speed with sensitive sensors which is what I think we need. I'm not sure about all of the requirements for the sub's vision, so I don't really know if these types of cameras are the best option or not. The cost for these cameras is a lot more than a webcam, but they would also probably provide a lot better performance.
