We need your input now!
After many years, the Palo Alto Grade-Separation program has started its final deliberations. Three alternatives remain for the Charleston and Meadow crossings:
1) Rail trench
2) 20-foot rail viaduct
3) 15-foot rail berm
A fourth option is currently being evaluated for feasiblity
4) Rail remaining at current elevation, Charleston/Meadow lowered under rail
It is critical that you express your opinions at the CIty's next rail meeting:
Wednesday March 4th, 4-6pm in Community Meeting Room at City Hall
If you can't attend the meeting, please email your comments to:
In-person comments carry much more weight, so please attend the meeting if at all possible.
Descriptions of the alternatives are available at
I will be holding a neighborhood Rail get-together at the picnic tables in Robles Park this Sunday March 1 at 4pm. Please attend and discuss this important issue!
Thanks,
Keith Reckdahl
