Thanks to Jen for presenting! I just found an update on our Intranet
about the data centers she was discussing and thought it might be of
interest. She said they are in the process of finalizing a location
in Fort Lauderdale but it's not mentioned in this article.

NuVox Invests in Dedicated Data Centers

NuVox will be investing money to build a series of Data Centers
starting in four markets in our footprint. The Data Centers will
allow customers of all sizes to collocate their equipment with NuVox.

These Data Centers will allow customers to house mission-critical
equipment in a controlled environment that would be cost-prohibitive
for the customers, themselves. Each NuVox Data Center offers security,
redundancy, network access, and management.


The product, called VoxDC, provides:

Redundant Network Connectivity
Redundant Power System
Climate (Environmental) Control
24x7 Security and Video Surveillance
"Smart Hands" for remote support
FM 200 Dry Pipe Fire Suppression Systems
Fortified, stand-alone facilities
NuVox has launched it's new Data Center in Jacksonville (in June) and
will be launching it's new Data Center in Nashville next week. We'll
keep you posted on upcoming VoxDC launches.
