StorageCraft - Next Meeting

Hey all… Question….

 

A few weeks ago I posed a question about backups, DR and offsite copies on behalf of clients.  It ignited one of the more lively discussions I have seen and I found it to be quite valuable and at the same time brought up a lot of new and interesting questions.

 

We are in the process / looking at, switching from Acronis for DR to StorageCraft (believe it or now we are using BE, Acronis and StorageCraft…. How’s that for paranoid).  Each DR solution has pros and cons. 

 

If I am not mistaken, we were looking at discussing DR solutions and issues and presenting products at our next monthly meeting. 

 

If this is true, would anyone be up to talking to my contact at StorageCraft?  I suspect he can really help and may have materials or slides that could be valuable.  He has been very helpful and proactive to us in our early migration stages. 

 

Not sure who is running the next meeting but please let me know if you would like to speak with Tod Johnsen at StorageCraft and how he can contact you.  Maybe he can even get us a door prize or something… who knows.

 

My big issue is getting all of my clients to have a Hardware Independent backup Offsite via a syncing system.  I am hoping SC with FTP will be the magic solution but have questions about having only one copy offsite.
