Oxygen XML Author seems like an essential tool for filling in some of the gaps in Paligo's feature set.

Notably, it allows you to cut multiple elements from one page as a block and paste them in another. Paligo is currently limited to one element at a time.

It also allows you to rename elements, so for example you could change a para to a programlisting, or vice-versa.

Paligo sells it for $532.

We purchased our subscription today along with Oxygen and Basic/Intermediate trainings.

Same like you I'm a sole writer on our company, so far I register 10 reviewers.

How was your experience with Oxygen?
I will have a private demo with George Bina next week.

Oxygen works great. I'll probably use often for drafting new content since I can do almost everything from the keyboard. Paligo makes me use the mouse fairly often.

I'm new at Oxygen, do you have any reference book that you can recommend?

I don't think you need Oxygen for variables.
