I'm working on specs table at Paligo? What is the best practise on setting up my variables? I have 30 rows and hundreds of product models.

Is your problem that as you add variants the columns get narrower and narrower, and eventually become unusable?

I'd open a support request, that looks like a bug to me. Either a horizontal scroll bar should appear, or the table should be broken up into multiple pages.

To manage hundreds of variants, you'd really want a search tool so you could easily navigate to the one you need to change.

How do you publish your documents with multiple variants?
Can you combine multiple models?

I'm not using variants. I'm documenting only one very complex product.

I do use profiling attributes to create internal-only and customer versions of the docs.

I don't know what you mean by models.

As described in the online help, you select the variable set in the Publish dialog.

I mean, you select the variant in the Publish dialog.
