Reminder: This Saturday's film is "Tears of Gaza," by Norwegian filmmaker Vibeke Løkkeberg. This is an important film by a well-know director. Details below.

Due to travel schedules, we will not be having the Madafeh show this Sunday July 7.

Screening the film "Tears of Gaza," directed by Vibeke Løkkeberga documentary that deals with the 2008/2009 Israeli attack on Gaza (operation Cast Lead). Running Time 84 minutes, 2010, English subtitles. The film screening will be followed by discussions with film director, Vibeke Løkkeberg.

Miko Peled is the founder and head of the newly formed Palestine House of Freedom, Dar Alhurriya, in Washington DC. Peled is a writer and activist, author of The “General’s Son, Journey of an Israeli in Palestine,” and “Injustice, the story of the Holy Land Foundation Five.” He is considered one of the clearest voices calling for dismantling the Zionist apartheid regime and establishing a free democratic Palestine with equal rights.
