The House Finance Committee will be hearing HB24-1169, Repeal Divest from Companies with Israel Prohibitions Law, on Monday 2/26! Currently, public employee's retirement funds and public money held by the Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association (PERA) are being weaponized to punish companies that make the morally correct decision to divest form Israel. HB24-1169 would repeal this law and allow companies that PERA invests in to take part in the Palestinian's call to boycott, divest, and sanction Israel until it ends its unjust occupation Palestine. We need your help in reaching out to members on the Finance Committee to let them know that Coloradans do not support genocide!
This is a key moment to act. Take 60 seconds to email members of the finance committee and urge them to vote YES on HB24-1169, and end Colorado's complicity in supporting an ongoing genocide and apartheid in Israel. We demand that all levels of government end the cultural and financial support for the apartheid state of Israel, and allow companies to engage in the peaceful boycott and divestment from Israel until Israel ends its apartheid and occupation of Palestine!
