Dear colleagues, I hope this email finds you well!
As the Guest Editor, I cordially invite you to contribute to the joint Special Issue, “Permafrost-affected soils of the changing high-latitude and high-altitude environments” across Soil Use and Management (SUM) and the European Journal of Soil Science (EJSS).
Despite the obvious slack period in sense of paper writing due to the active fieldwork season I hope together we will fulfill this SI with lots of valuable papers presenting the fundamental and state-of-art scientific results.
We are welcoming manuscripts addressing all aspects of permafrost-affected soils and upper permafrost functioning and management, ranging from experimental results, metadata assessment or perspectives. This would include research from any permafrost region, including alpine permafrost.
The last but not least to mention - the regular paper in both SUM and EJSS is free of article processing charge. The "open-access" publishing model is optional.
All the best,

--
