Dear friends, students and colleagues,

We’re excited to announce the program (see attached) of the next Virtual Micromorphology Meeting (ViMi6), which will take place online over Zoom on February 5–6 (Thursday and Friday), 2026, between 11:00 and 16:00 (CET). ViMi6 is planned and organized as a joint venture between the University of Cologne and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. We are thrilled about the great interest and responses from all over the world and can’t wait to bring together a vibrant and inspiring ViMi6!

Additionally, we are looking for young and early-career micromorphologists to participate for the ViMi6 prize. To participate, please send your high-quality microphotograph, along with a description (maximum 300 words), your full name, and affiliation, by January 30, 2026, to vimi.mi...@gmail.com. The winner will receive a prize and a certificate.

 

We can’t wait to bring together a vibrant and inspiring ViMi6!
