Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The International Workshop on Archaeological Soil Micromorphology and Phytoliths (IWASM), which will take place from the 20^th to the 22^nd of May 2026 at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Brussels is fast approaching. We are pleased to inform you that the registration is now open and will remain available until the 27^th of February. You will find the registration link, together with further essential information, in the 2^nd Circular.

Please note that, as participation is limited, you will receive a confirmation letter in early March informing you whether or not you have secured a place.

We are pleased to welcome you to Brussels for a focused and collegial workshop, which will provide a productive environment for intensive hands-on microscopy sessions, poster presentations, and in-depth discussions.
