Numerous Mars “Rocks” Do Not Have Rock Textures.

Mars Exploration Rovers (Curiosity, Opportunity, Spirit) have sent
back numerous pictures of “rocks” that do not have the textures of
rocks. Two examples:

Reasons: One must consider an object’s texture, morphology, context
and microstructure before identifying it as a rock. Above two examples
are not any of very fine-grained rocks, glass, chert, clay rocks,
meteorites , impact melt, etc.
