Whereas Facebook Groups is an incredibly good platform for group discussions,
and whereas this group has been pretty stagnant,
Ben Davidson created the group and brought it to my attention. Google Groups is a dead platform that Google is phasing out; it's time to modernize.
I know several people have qualms about using Facebook. To this I say:
- If you're concerned about privacy, just create an account under a pseudonym.
- Furthermore, the group is 'closed' (we can always change this), so only group members can see what happens within the group.
- If you don't want to get sucked into the world of FB, don't add any friends, just join the group; that way the group will be the only thing happening.
